The TwoRooted experience consists of welcoming energy and creates the ambiance of being catered to and pampered. We seek to merge the feel of the “old school” beauty salon environment with modern day hair techniques. As we focus on one client at a time, our scheduling allows us to work efficiently and give our full attention to each guest. This allows us to create individualized hair care plans, set goals, and maintenance schedules with each one of our clients.

TwoRooted specializes in curly styling, Locs, braids, wigs, extensions, and safe custom color. Owned and operated by Taylor Longshaw and J’nae Carmon, who have an expansive understanding of textured hair with over 10 years of combined knowledge and experience.

Taylor Longshaw
Taylor, originally from Dallas, Texas is the co-owner of TwoRooted Salon. Although she's new to the Austin area, she's definitely not new to haircare! Taylor is a licensed cosmetologist and a graduate of The Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute in Austin. She loves all things natural - including braids, locs, twists, and curly styling!
J'nae Carmon
J'nae, originally from Houston, Texas is the co-owner of TwoRooted Salon with 10 years of experience in the hair industry. Her favorite things to do are making wigs, custom color for curly and kinky hair and enhance the natural curls of her clients.
